2023 Elections

February 21, 2023 - Spring Primary

April 4, 2023 - Spring Election

Voting Location

All residents in the Town of Emmet vote at the town hall located at W6777 Second Street Rd, Watertown, WI.  

Early/Absentee Voting

Early/Absentee voting is available to all registered voters.  


BY MAIL:

To request a ballot be mailed to you, click the 'MY VOTE WISCONSIN' link below.  You will be directed to the MyVote site where you can complete and submit an online application. 

  

Or you may make written application to your municipal clerk for an absentee ballot in person, by mail, by fax, or by email. 

Your written request must include:

1. your voting address within the municipality where you wish to vote

2. the address where the absentee ballot should be sent, if different from the address above 

3. your signature 

4. a copy of your photo identification


IN PERSON: 

Contact the Clerk to schedule an appointment for in person absentee voting.  In person voting is only allowed during the 14 days preceding the Election.


Photo ID is required to receive a ballot

Voter Registration

All new residents to the Town of Emmet are required to register to vote in the township.  In addition, any resident with a name change or address change within the township, will be required to update their voter registration.

ELECTION UDPATES

EMMET TOWN HALL GENERAL VOTER INFORMATION

TO INSURE VOTER AND ELECTION STAFF SAFETY, CDC GUIDELINES WILL BE FOLLOWED:

  • The number of voters allowed into the building may be limited.  We ask that only adult voters enter the building.
  • Please use the hand sanitizer provided at the entrance to the building.
  • Maintain proper distance from other voters and staff at all times.
  • When asked to show your photo id, please hold it so that the election worker may view your photo, name and the expiration date.
  • You may bring your own black ball point pen for completing your ballot.  If you do not bring a pen, we will provide you with one.  
  • Election staff will be disinfecting surfaces through out the day.
