Welcome to Town of Emmet, Dodge County, WI Community

What's new in Emmet Township?

1/1/25: the town now collects paper and metal inside the Recycle facility. It is not mandatory for residents to separate these items, however, if you have large quantities of said items and are willing to separate them, please see the attendant for proper placement in the gaylords inside the recycle building. In doing so, you help to offset the costs of recycling for the township. Thank you for helping support our recycling efforts!

3/12/25 - Ordinance No. 43 - Driveway Ordinance - See ordinances & Resolutions

11/13/2024 - Ordinance #7 and #41, pertaining to dog control and licensing AND kennel permits have been repealed and replaced and are available for review under the ordinance/resolution tab on the website. Full text is available in the clerks office. Hours are by appointment.

11/1/24 - Dumpsters at the Waste site are locked. As always, if you would like to schedule an after hours drop off for trash and/or recycling you need to call 24 hours in advance to make arrangements. Please call 920-261-1611. One phone call does not grant continuous permission. You must call to make arrangements for the dumpsters to be unlocked for each use.

E-cycle is now available to residents of the township. There is a fee for electronics and other items that are brought to the recycle/trash center. In addition, an updated trash and recycle guide showing fees for trash and e-cycle is on the website. If you have questions please see the attendant during regular hours on Saturdays from 8am-12pm.

7/17/24: We have received a few calls regarding the installation of cable/fiber in the township, specifically about repairs to resident property/yard. If you find that your property was not repaired or have complaints please reach out to Spectrum directly at 1-855-707-7328 and explain the situation to them. Spectrum contracts with multiple companies to complete various phases of the work.

Effective 7/16 24 please send all Land Use Permit and Zoning requests to Dodge County.

Some matters are not timely. In an ideal world, we would like to have everything that needs to be discussed at a Monthly Town Board meeting have a deadline that fits the need of the board. Unfortunately, that is not the case. When that occurs, or other matters of similar nature, the Town holds what is called a "Special Meeting". These meetings are publicly noticed on the website and at the Town Hall.
